A Whole New Year.........Soon :p

Aww......MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!! A whole new year has passed in my life as a secondary one student. Woohoo!!!! Now it's time for freedom!!! Not!!! He he! By the way, goodness me, my blog has been asleep for ages, perhaps even dead by now. Hmm...I better revive it. Oh...and I hope I need not have a blog for Secondary Two. That way, I can type all I want and no one will be there to stop me!!! Well, I just created one new one for personal stuff just in case. Here it is: http://www.kcyfwanderers.blogspot.com.

As you can see, I kept being laughed at for the silly Keno Zero nickname, so I changed it to KCYF, an older nickname of mine. The wanderers thing? Well, I don't really understand that word, but I just take it as wandering around XD. That's what I am. In fact, I am nothing else except that. Well as you can see, there's no post there(Well isn't that obvious I just created it!), so I recommend that you check back much later when I have time.

Currently, I am busy trying to teach myself Actionscript 2.0 to create and programme Flash games, and of course, not to forget playing games. With that, I declare this post to an end. I haven't been typing for a long time and I don't know what to type! My exam results? No way! Seeya and may more posts come you way! That is, in the new blog. :)

(you wanna see video? here it is......ha ha, joking here!)

Run Athlete, RUN!!! NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yo dudes! So long it has been since my last informal post. Hmm......why am I saying this again I just said it in the last post! I hate those book reviews. They ate up my time. Perhaps I should eat up the books instead. Well, today I called you here for no reason. Seriously! This is totally wasting my time! I wondered why I am writing this post. It is completely pointless. So I guess we shall say goodbye for now. So......bye bye!

What? You wanted me to go on? What the heck! Now you are wasting my time instead. Oh well, I could do with a bribe. A million dollars would do me good! Ha ha! I bet you can't afford that! Oh well, let's just get back to the subject.

First of all, a whole lot of random things just happend in my school today. I have no idea why it should happen. Let's me just get down to it one by one. Well, we were told to wear PE t-shirt to school today and straight after assembly, which is around 7.45a.m., we were sent to stand along Kah Kee Lane(the drive way which led up to the school, if you are not from HCI that is). Why? Oh, it is nothing really.

Ha ha! Just kidding. The thing is, we were told that the Youth Olympic Torch bearer would run into our school to light some flame. I have no idea where he will light it on, probably a cigarette. Ha ha! And we were supposed to support and cheer and clap for that guy. As soon as we were told that, my eyes started to glitter. Already, images of a athlete holding the FIRST YOUTH OLYMPIC TORCH running into our could be seen in my head vividly. What an honour! To have the Youth Olympic Torch moving through our school!

AS we waited under the burning sun, I felt as though I am about to suffer from dehydration. By golly! This place is real HOT! Someone give me water or I shall die! The only thing that kept us going is the anticipation. Where the heck is the torch bearer at this moment? Is he asleep?

As vehicles that had nothing to do with the Youth Olympic thingie passed by us, some REAL bored people started cheering for the cars. Hmm......perhaps they fancied the fact that their cars looked so cool and expensive.

The next thing we knew, traffic police started piling in. What have we done wrong? Are we speeding. By golly! We don't even own a car, how could we speed? The waiting nearly turned to death when finally, the real guy came. It was and hour since we started waiting(what a waste of time), and what was there to greet us was not up to expectation.

Man!!! This is totally crap! Guess what? After a long hour of waiting, only a man who looked as though he is in his thirties or forties, wearing a cap, t-shirt and long pants(totally not like an athlete), came in a slow stroll holding a lantern with an extremely small flame. He was followed by a younger man with the same attire except he was wearing shorts and did not have any cap on his head, who held an UNLIT Youth Olympic Torch in his hands in a casual way.

My jaws dropped at this sight. This is a complete waste of time. Nevertheless, I was happy due to the fact that this little misfortune also brought a little fortune. The Chinese lesson was being taken up! YAY! Is not that I hate Chinese. It is just the fact that the teacher can drone on and on for hours which will make me yawn. Oh well, at least the Youth Olympic Games will be held in Singapore this year, so I will be able to watch it real nicely!

With that, I declare this post to an end. May more posts come your way!

Book Review 2: Around The World In 80 Days

I wanna sleep, so many books to read. I bet you wanna sleep too eh? Then go ahead! Hope you are late for school! He he! So......what's up? He he! The book for today is Around The World In Eighty Days. Sounds cool right? Nowadays we can travel around the whole world in less than a month. If we were to take a supersonic plane and fly non-stop, we will be able to make a lap at the diameter of the Earth in less than one day! Alright, enough of this crazy facts, time to get to the subject itself.

Around The World In Eighty Days:
The adventure starts with an English man named Phileas Fogg, who bet twenty thousand pounds with his mates at the Reform Club for travelling around the world in eighty days. He was to leave London at 8:45 P.M. on October 2, 1872 and due back at the Reform Club by December 21 at the same time. He kicked of the journey by taking a train with his new valet, a Frenchman named Passepartout, and his mates from the Reform Club were there to see him off. Here is the desired route taken(click on it to view a larger image if you can't see):

Fogg and Passepartout reached Suez in time. While disembarking in Egypt, they were watched by a Scotland Yard detective named Fix, who had been dispatched from London in search of a bank robber. As Fogg matched the description of the bank robber, Fix mistook Fogg as the criminal. Since he could not secure a warrant in time, Fix went on board the steamer conveying the travellers to Bombay. During the voyage, Fix became acquainted with Passepartout, without revealing his purpose. On the voyage, Fogg promised the engineer a large reward if he got them to Bombay early. They dock two days ahead of schedule.

After reaching India they took a train from Bombay to Calcutta. Halfway, Fogg learnt that the Daily Telegraph newspaper article was wrong – the railroad ended at Kholby and started 50 miles further on at Allahabad. Fogg promptly bought an elephant, hired a guide and started towards Allahabad.

During the ride, they came across a suttee procession, in which a young Parsi woman, Aouda, was led to a sanctuary to be sacrificed by the process of sati the next day by Brahmins. Since the young woman was drugged with the smoke of opium and hemp and obviously not going voluntarily, the travellers decided to rescue her. They followed the procession to the site, where Passepartout secretly took the place of Aouda's deceased husband on the funeral pyre, on which she was to be burned the next morning. During the ceremony, he then rised from the pyre, scaring off the priests, and carried the young woman away. Due to this incident, the two days gained earlier were lost but Fogg showed no sign of regret.

The travellers then hasten on to catch the train at the next railway station, taking Aouda with them. At Calcutta, they could finally board a steamer going to Hong Kong. Fix, who had secretly been following them, had Fogg and Passepartout arrested in Calcutta. However, they jump bail and Fix was forced to follow them to Hong Kong. On board, he showed himself to Passepartout, who was delighted to meet again his travelling companion from the earlier voyage.

In Hong Kong, it turned out that Aouda's distant relative, in whose care they had been planning to leave her, had moved, probably to Holland, so they decided to take her with them to Europe. Meanwhile, still without a warrant, Fix saw Hong Kong as his last chance to arrest Fogg on British soil. He therefore confided in Passepartout, who did not believe a word and remained convinced that his master is not a bank robber. To prevent Passepartout from informing his master about the premature departure of their next vessel, Fix got him drunk and drugged him in an opium den. In his dizziness, Passepartout still managd to catch the steamer to Yokohama, but forgot to inform Fogg.

Fogg, on the next day, discovered that the ship had left. He went in search of a vessel that will take him to Yokohama. He finds a pilot boat that took him and Aouda to Shanghai, where they catch a steamer to Yokohama. In Yokohama, they went on a search for Passepartout, believing that he may had arrived there on the original boat. They find him in a circus, trying to earn the fare for his homeward journey. Reunited, the four boarded a steamer taking them across the Pacific to San Francisco. Fix promised Passepartout that now, having left British soil, he will no longer try to delay Fogg's journey, but rather support him in getting back to Britain as fast as possible (to have him arrested there).

In San Francisco they get on a trans-American train to New York, encountering a number of obstacles along the way: a massive herd of bison crossing the tracks, a failing suspension bridge, and most disastrously, the train is attacked and overcome by Sioux Indians. After heroically uncoupling the locomotive from the carriages, Passepartout was kidnapped by the Indians, but Fogg rescued him after some soldiers volunteer to help. They continued by a wind-powered sledge over the snowy prairie to Omaha, where they get a train to New York.

Once they arrived in New York and missed their ship by 35 minutes, Fogg started looking for an alternative for the crossing of the Atlantic Ocean. He found a small steamboat, destined for Bordeaux. However, the captain of the boat refused to take the company to Liverpool, whereupon Fogg consented to be taken to Bordeaux for the price of $2000 per passenger. On the voyage, he bribed the crew to mutiny and take course for Liverpool. Against hurricane winds and going on full steam all the time, the boat ran out of fuel after a few days. Fogg bought the boat at a very high price from the captain, soothing him thereby, and has the crew burn all the wooden parts to keep up the steam.

The companions arrived at Queenstown, Ireland, in time to reach London via Dublin and Liverpool before the deadline. However, once on British soil again, Fix produced a warrant and arrested Fogg. A short time later, the misunderstanding is cleared up—the actual bank robber had been caught three days earlier in Edinburgh. In response to this, Fogg, punches Fix, who fell to the ground. However, Fogg missed the train and returned to London five minutes late, assured that he had lost the wager.

In his London house the next day, he apologised to Aouda for bringing her with him, since he now had to live in poverty and cannot financially support her. Aouda suddenly confessed that she loves him and asked him to marry her, which he gladly accepted. He called for Passepartout to notify the reverend. At the reverend's, Passepartout learnt that he is mistaken in the date, which he takes to be Sunday but which actually is Saturday due to the fact that the party travelled east, thereby gaining a full day on their journey around the globe.

Passepartout hurried back to Fogg, who immediately set off for the Reform Club, where he arrived just in time to win the wager. Fogg married Aouda and the journey around the world is complete.

The Author + My Reflections:
Jules Gabriel Verne was born on 8 February 1828 and passed away on 24 March 1905. He was a French author who started with the science-fiction genre. He is best known for his novels: A Journey to the Centre of the Earth (1864), From the Earth to the Moon (1865), Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea (1869–1870), Around the World in Eighty Days (1873) and The Mysterious Island (1875).

Verne wrote about space, air, and underwater travel even before this machines were invented, and before any means of space travel had been devised. Consequently he is often referred to as the "Father of science fiction", along with H. G. Wells, Hugo Gernsback and Edgar Allan Poe.

Now, I am deeply impressed with the development of the whole story. It was well-flowed and full of exciting scenes which I guarantee you will not stop reading it till the book finishes. Think about it, around the world in just eighty days using nothing but old and run-down technologies of those times. On first thought, I thought Fogg will be going to every single country in the world and coming back to London again. To my surprise, Fogg only cared about taking the shortest route around the world by cutting through and missing many countries. I felt rather cheated by this.

Ain't that an interesting book? Forget about the cheated part. That's your problem and not mine, he he! With that, this post has come to an end and here is another video to brighten you up! I guess that's why I called my blog "Keno Zero's Video Blog". Well, this video may be rather boring for you but you should watch it. Wanna know why? Mind you, this is the first ever classical animation with a character that has an appealing personality. May more posts come your way!

Book Review 1: The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes

Okay, as you all know, or even if you don't know, I am telling everyone right here. We have to do four book reviews during the holidays. This will be my first one for this month. So, my first book here is "The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes". Sounds interesting ain't it? I always love detective work. Now, there is many short stories of cases in this book, around twenty to thirty pages each. I have to do four since each one is so short. So, here goes...

A Scandal In Bohemia:
The king of Germany is getting married. However, his former 'girlfriend', Irene Adler, does not allow such thing to happen. With the fact that she has a photograph in which she and the king are both in the picture, she will be able to blackmail the king just by showing his new wife the photo. The king, who had failed several times in retrieving it, seeks Sherlock Holmes' help to retrieve the photograph.

Holmes start off to think of a plan and asked his assistant, Watson, to help him in part of the act. The act goes like this: Holmes and Watson will disguise themselves as someone else and wait at the door of Irene Adler before she comes home. When she got off her carriage and begins walking towards the door, Holmes pretends to have a headache and falls to the ground. This will result Irene Adler asking her men to carry Holmes into her house. When inside, Holmes will raise his hand and Watson will throw into the house a plumber's rocket and shout "FIRE!!!!!!!!!!". This will result in Irene Adler going to take the photograph and Holmes is there to see it. You see, when there is a fire, women will rush off to take their most precious things first, and in this case, Irene Adler's most precious item is the photograph, which was in a recess behind a sliding panel just above the right bell-pull. As soon as she does that, she realized that she had just betrayed herself as Holmes said that it was a false alarm.

Holmes and Watson took their leave and decided to come back tomorrow to retrieve the photograph, when the lady would not be in her house. As soon as they entered, they were surprised to find the place empty. As they open the sliding panel, they found a note and a picture of Irene Adler instead. The note, written by Irene Adler, stated that she was indeed impressed with the way Holmes had planned his act and took her in completely. After Holmes left, she quickly replaced the photograph and wrote the note and together with her new husband, they took a flight to another country. She also stated that the king need not worry about the photograph as she already got a better man than he. So all in all, Holmes sort of 'failed' in this case. The first he ever got outsmarted by another person.

A Case of Identity:
A young lady Miss Mary Sutherland wanted to get married. However, her step-father, Mr Windibank disallowed. At one point of time, Mr Windibank was going to France to work and Miss Mary Sutherland met a handsome young man who claimed his name is Mr Hosmer Angel with a soft voice. The two of them kept meeting and writing letters to each other in the absence of Mr Windibank. One day, the two decided to get married without the knowledge of Mr Windibank. Miss Mary took the first hansom and Mr Angel took the next. When she reached the church, she waited eagerly for the arrival of Mr Angel, but he never appeared. Miss Mary was taken aback and thought that he might have disappeared out of the blue. She seeks Sherlock Holmes help and Holmes asked Miss Mary to lend him the letters Mr Angel typewritten to her.

After observing the letters for a while, Holmes found out that there was a little slurring over of the "e" and a slight defect in the tail of the "r". What's more, there was no signature, only a neat typewritten: Mr Hosmer Angel. To confirm his man, Holmes wrote a letter to Mr Windibank to invite to his place at six the next day. The reply came which was typewritten and the same characteristics were also observed. This obviously proves that Mr Windibank was the person who was pretending to be Mr Hosmer Angel.

Mr Windibank, upon arrival at Holmes' place, soon found out that Holmes was sure he was the man and confessed about his doings. You see, he did not want her step-daughter to be married, so he pretended to go to France and claimed his name as Mr Hosmer Angel.

By getting a strong relationship of being Miss Mary's 'boyfriend', he pretended to proposed to Miss Mary and as soon as she got into the first hansom and he got into second, Mr Windibank dived out of the hansom and ran away, and in the end, pretended to have come back from France. He knew that the disappearance of "Mr Hosmer Angel" would leave a deep impression on Miss Mary, in which she would not go for a better man, and the fact that "Mr Hosmer Angel" would never reappear, Miss Mary would never get married. With this fact, Mr Windibank's wish is complete.

No further action is taken against this. Holmes had accomplished his job but Miss Mary still did not believe that it was Mr Windibank who pretended to be Mr Angel.

The Red-headed League:
A London pawnbroker named Jabez Wilson with "fiery red hair," came to Holmes and Watson. He told them that his young assistant, Vincent Spaulding, some weeks ago had shown him and urged him to respond to a newspaper want-ad offering work to only red-headed male applicants. The next morning, Wilson had waited in a long line of fellow red-headed men, was interviewed and was the only one hired as his hair colour was the exact one they were looking for. He was paid four pounds a week, for several weeks of copying an encyclopedia, but finally one morning a sign on the locked office door showed the words "THE RED-HEADED LEAGUE IS DISSOLVED."

Wilson then went to the landlord, who said that he'd never heard of Duncan Ross, the person who formed the league. The landlord did remember the tenant with scarlet hair and gives him a card which directed Wilson to an artificial knee company. With that, he ended the story. Holmes promised that by Monday they would have the case solved. After Wilson left, Holmes decided to go and see Spaulding, whom Holmes noticed has dirty trouser knees. Holmes then tapped on the pavement in front of the pawnbroker's shop and after that, called Inspector Jones and Mr. Merryweather.

The four confront the thieves, John Clay and his helper William Morris who had disguise themselves as Spaulding and Ross, who had contrived the Red-Headed League rigmarole just to keep Wilson out of his shop while they did digging in the basement in order to break into the bank vault next door.

The Boscombe Valley Mystery:
Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson take a train to Boscombe Valley, in Herefordshire. En route, Holmes reads the news and briefs Watson on their new case. Mr. John Turner, a widower and a major landowner who has a daughter named Alice, lives there with a fellow expatriate from Australia, Mr. Charles McCarthy, a widower who has a son named James. Charles has been found dead near Boscombe Pool. It was reported that he was there to meet someone. Two witnesses testify that they saw Charles walking into the woods followed by James, who was bearing a gun.

Patience Moran, daughter of a lodge keeper, says she saw Charles and James arguing and, when James raised his hand as if to hit his father, she ran to her mother. While telling her mother what she saw, James rushed to their house seeking help. The Morans followed James back to the Pool, where they found his father dead. James was arrested and charged with murder. Alice Turner believes James is innocent and has contacted Lestrade, a Scotland Yard detective who in turn has asked Holmes’ help.

James confirms the testimonies of the witnesses, but explains that he went to the woods to hunt, not to follow his father. He later heard his father calling "Cooee", and he found his father standing by the pool, surprised to see him. They argued, and James decided to return to Hatherley Farm. Shortly thereafter, he heard his father cry out, and returned to find his father lying on the ground. James insists that he tried to help him, but his father died in his arms. James refuses to reveal the cause of their argument, despite the coroner's warning that it could be damaging to his case. James also remembers his father’s last words were something about "a rat", but James is uncertain of the meaning. He also saw a cloak nearby that was gone when he returned later.

Alice meets Holmes, Watson and Lestrade in the hotel; she hopes Holmes has found a way to prove James' innocence. She also believes that she was the subject of the argument between James and his father, for Charles had asked James to marry her but James refused. Alice's father was also against the union. Holmes asks Alice if he could meet her father, but she says his health worsened after the death of Charles, whom he had known since they were in Victoria. Holmes decides to see James. Holmes mistakenly surmises that James knows who killed his father and is only protecting someone. Alice is right about the cause of the argument between James and Charles.

What she does not know is that James loves her and wants to marry her, but could not because he had already married a barmaid before Alice returned from boarding school. This burdens him, but he cannot tell his father about his marriage because he would be thrown out of the house and left unable to support himself. To James’ consolation, when his wife hears of his troubles, she confesses she was already married before they met, and therefore their marriage is invalid.

Holmes, Watson and Lestrade go to Hatherly Farm and examine Charles' and James' boots. They then head to Boscombe Pool, following the track from the courtyard. After examining the ground, Holmes finds evidence of the presence of another man besides Charles and James, whom he believes to be the murderer. The stranger is a tall, limping, left-handed man who smokes cigars. Lestrade is not convinced.

At the hotel, Holmes explains to Watson that "Cooee" is an Australian cry and "a rat", overheard by James, were the last syllables of "Ballarat", a place in Australia. So the person Charles was meeting is someone he knew from Australia. John comes to their room and, realizing that Holmes has deduced the crime, confesses.

In his confession, John explains that he was a member of the Ballarat Gang, a group of robbers in Australia. They robbed a gold convoy in which Charles was the wagon driver, and John spared his life despite knowing that Charles could identify him. The loot made the gang rich, and they moved to England. Resolved to change, John parted ways with his friends. He bought land, married, and then Alice was born. John met Charles again by chance, and Charles threatened to blackmail him. In response John gave Charles Hatherly Farm and money. Eventually this was not enough, and Charles demanded the marriage of James and Alice. Although he likes James, John could not allow Charles eventual control over his family's finances through Alice, and resisted the union. After much pressure, John agreed to meet Charles secretly at the Pool. Seeing Charles and James there arguing, John waited till James left. Then he killed Charles to preserve his freedom and spare his daughter. James heard his father's death cry and returned, but John was able to hide in the woods. He had to return later to retrieve a cloak that he dropped in his haste.

John signs his statement, and Holmes vows to keep it secret unless needed to free James. Holmes' objections are sufficient to acquit James. John dies seven months after the meeting with Holmes and Watson. A brighter future is ahead for James and Alice, free of their fathers' dark past.

The Author + My Reflections:
Sir Arthur Ignatius Conan Doyle was a Scottish physician and writer. His detective stories of Sherlock Holmes are highly famous, which are generally considered a major innovation in the field of crime fiction, and for the adventures of Professor Challenger. He was a prolific writer whose other works include science fiction stories, historical novels, plays and romances, poetry, and non-fiction. Other books of Sherlock Holmes include The Hound of the Baskervilles and A Study In Scarlet.

Well, I was deeply impressed with how Holmes reasoned his explanations. He noted every detail beautifully and was able to come to a conclusion with a method someone could never master simply. He was always calm, and knew when to take action, a detective no other has ever come across. Good work on the stories Sir Arther!

Now, with so much words, I bet you are getting too bored to read eh? Well, then blame the rules of having to read four books for Sherlock Holmes. Screw this man. Just to wake you up, you can watch this video, or you can knock your own head with a hammer. He he! With that, may more posts come your way!

Home Online Learning Term 2

Right, today is Home Online Learning, as we all know, so I am not going to be as jokey as before(HAHA! Laugh! Laugh!). Time to get REAL serious! Ha ha ha ha! I can't control myself. What do we have to do for LA? Oh yes, analyse that poem with self experiences and create a poem! I need an analyser! Just to make stuff easier for everyone(no, it does not make my work easier!), I will put the poem here:

The Son is in Secondary School by Affian Sa’at

My badge has a Latin motto
Hope for the future
The future is hope
Or something

The author sends us a message indirectly that he does not really understand his school motto.

At times black crows try to interrupt
When we sing the National Anthem

This clearly shows that during the singing of the national anthem, sometimes there will be other unnecessary noises made by other students.

It is difficult to maintain
The whiteness of my shoes
Especially on Wednesdays

I believe the author always have some kind of activity going on Wednesday, like soccer training perhaps? He says that his shoes usually get dirty on that day.

I must admit there is something quite special
About the bare thighs of hardworking scouts

He obviously hates scouts as he had to ADMIT<---keyword! that there was something special about the bare thighs of them.

The Malay chauffeurs
Who wait for my schoolmates
Sit on the car park kerb
Telling jokes to one another

The author tells us that his friends belong to very rich families as they had chauffeurs to drive for them. I am not so sure about the poet himself. Perhaps it's a no.

Seven to the power of five is unreasonable

The author obviously hates Mathematics since there are so much to learn which is quite confusing and frustrating.

On Chinese New Year
Mrs Lee dressed up
In a sarong kebaya
And sang Bengawan Solo

The author finds his school a weird place when it comes to events and celebrations with the fact that a teacher dressed up in a sarong kebaya and sang Bengawan Solo during Chinese New Year.

The capital of Singapore is Singapore

The author knows his country well.

My best friend did a heroic thing once
Shaded all A’s
For his Chinese Language
Multiple-choice paper

He admire his friends a lot. Once, a friend of his shaded(purposely, I think) all of his answers as 'A' and the poet was really impressed in a way that he called him heroic.

In our annual yearbook
There is a photograph of me

The author is part of the school and in this part of the poem, the author has graduated from secondary school.

Pushing a wheelchair and smiling
They caught me
At the exact moment

The author is smiling and perhaps a friend of his is sitting on a wheelchair and he had to help him/her to position just before the camera snapped.

When my eyes were actually closed

The camera snapped just as the author closed his eyes.

My Experience:
For my experience, I too, missed my primary school mates. Ahh...those were the days...in which I too, hate Mathematics, but I believe my photo hasn't been taken with my eyes closed. The only problem was that I don't know how to show my teeth when I smile. Well, seriously! There sure are a lot of events that I had experienced and enjoyed, like the Chinese New Year celebration and National Day celebration. I was in scout too but I hated it now. It is a complete waste of time, just simply disciplining you and blah blah blah... I don't care what benefits there are but I just hate it!

I certainly am not allowed to play sports after school and to go home straight.(A totally ridiculous rule by my mum). Mt family is not really rich, but enough to have a bit luxury. I do have a friend who's friend purposely do badly in examinations just to get to the lousier class to release his stress. Perhaps I should try that some time in the future(He he!).

My Poem:
Sweating under the burning sun,
There were thoughts of chat and fun.
Those were the days of great people,
Setting exams that were so simple.

I could barely breathe one bit,
Being in the sixth year I could hardly sit.
Listening to the clock's ticking,
As each second tells me PSLE is coming.

Then came the real of deal,
I felt as though my life was sealed.
The paper just came flowing through,
Just like sharks with skins of rough.

Looking back at the long journey,
Which had went by so suddenly.
I began to thought of all the things,
My peers, my teachers were just like my siblings

How I hope I could forget,
That life of humans are all set.
There's no changing or turning back,
Without a time machine which we lack.

A Fruitful Week: The Sabbaticals(plus other stuff)

Ahhh... after one week of sabbaticals, I am totally refreshed. I week of 'slackness'. I am ready for anything! NO! NOT READY FOR EXAMS OR HOMEWORK! I HATE THEM! Well, who knows, we have our LA test on Monday. Aargh!!! We also have our Chinese common test on Thursday. Darn it! Anyway, lets stick to the subject. Perhaps we should use super glue to stick ourselves to the subject in the future instead since it is not sticky enough.

Now, just in case you don't know, my course is actually "Electronic Music Composition". Sounds pretty cool right? In actual fact, I was attracted to it by the cool name, not the course. The word 'electronic' seems to tell me that it is all loud music(don't know why, human instinct I guess). Without a further ado, I picked that as my first choice and badminton after that. To my astonishment, I costs $80! Darn! I forgot to check the price before submitting my choices!

Oh well. On the first day, I was not surprise to find Khang Zhie in the same course(why, I checked the list and saw his name). I was like pretty "darn it!" when he sat beside me in the computer lab. To my surprise, he apologised to me about all the past happenings and we became good friends after that(that was unexpeted). The teacher was a man in his forties I think, and he was so friendly that he did not scold anyone at all. One thing about him is that he likes to use the word 'shiok' (not sure about the spelling) which means cool if you don't know. Yeah, very 'shiok' eh? He he! Well, the course certainly was about composing music except that you have to use computers. And the sounds are already prepared for you and all you have to do is to mix them to make it sound nice.

I am talking about the drum beats, basses, guitars and melodies being prepared for you and you mixing them, not people farting and burping and you recording them down and mix them(that sounds lame). On the first day, we have to create a music and pan it. Panning means to make the sound travel from the right speaker to the left speaker or vice versa. Too confusing? Well, imagine you are wearing earphones on both ears. Imagine in the first place, the sound is coming from your right ear. The next thing you know, the sound is coming from your left ear instead. For this to happen, you need to pan the music.

Sounds pretty 'shiok' eh? I always love this kind of music. The only problem was that I panned the music too much and the teacher told me he felt dizzy listening to my music. Hmm...I wondered what's wrong with his ears, I don't feel a teeny bit of dizziness at all. With that, we moved quickly into the second day, in which we have to add music to a video in order to create some sort of atmosphere for the audience. Well, the video was typically about the 100m race during the Beijing Olympics in which you knew, the Jamaica guy who broke the record with a result of 9.68secs. If you don't know, then I wonder whether you have came from outer space.

Well, yeah, we have to add music to it and to make it sound great. We also learned about volume control in which we adjust the volume of each instrument so that everything can be heard. Hmm...if I haven't been taught about that, I think my eardrums is gonna burst. That day really was short and oh, we also further edited our first piece of music using the newly taught skills.

On the third day, we were taught about MIDI. Hmm...sounds interesting doesn't it? No? Then get out of here! He he! MIDI is the GRANDFATHER of music(no, I don't know what does it stands for), but it doesn't store sounds, it stores data instead and when put into the computer, the computer converts the data to sounds that are stored or found inside the computer. Looks like MIDI really is too dependent on computers to create music, that's what makes it unsuccessful when more music software is created. MIDI is rather like playing a piano on a computer, but you too, can change the instrument. Not just, piano, there are guitars, flutes and basses too!

With that, the third day ends and the fourth day arrived with an OMG! Now comes the real challenge: changing the frequency!!!!!!!!! That's madness! As the teacher drone on and on about blah blah blah.........I was totally in a mess, there wasn't even a pause in between for me to ask questions! That day well, was rather boring you can say, I am not good with frequency. So I guess I should stop talking about day four or you guys might fall asleep.

On day five, the teacher have another video in stall for us to add music to. This time, it is a montage of a bicycle race and tons of crashes here and there too. Ummn......maybe not a lot. There's only three. As the teacher starts to leave, one thing that kept bugging me was that, for five days, he has been teaching us, and we didn't even noted his name! Uggh!!!!!! So I rushed up to him and asked him that exact question. And what do you know, his name is uhh......drum rolls please, he he! Just joking! His name was Job Tan. Hmmm...interesting name. Especially the word 'Job'. Never imagine such a name.

Oh well, we have come to the end of this great post(Not great? Then scram! He he!). May more posts come your way! I have included one of the videos here too for great entertainment! Enjoy them!

Sporty Friday

Yeeha! Came back with tons of energy and tons of stinking sweat! Wanna smell them? Ha ha! You will faint at the smell. In actual fact, this post is supposed to be posted on 14th May, but due to my over-busy schedule, I had to push it later to now. Groan, all those 'crappy' homework sure are 'white-hairing'. I think my hair will be completely white by the end of this year. Hmm... make that next week! That reminds me, the holidays are coming! Woohoo! Time to slack! Waha!

By the way, the annual sports day meet on Friday was really...awesome? Or should I say pretty? Ha ha, just joking! They are not pretty anyway(You know who I mean by 'they', don't you? He he!) Hwa Chong Institution plus the International School and NYGH made the school's terraces really full up. I could hardly breathe until I choked. I guess I should bring a oxygen tank next time. It was a sad thing that this year is the last year we will be having a sports day meet as the LTA will be using our real PRECIOUS field for their 'crap work' of building a MRT station nearby! GRR!!!!!! I am sure going to rip their throats apart. Just imagine, using our diamond-worth field just for that! What the heck is all this about?

Just to commemorate this last precious moments, I shall typed it down here for all to read and FEEL. I shall be the commentator, you be the spectators and slackers(He he!).

What a great day this is, to have the entire Hwa Chong family and the Nanyang Girls High to gather at the terraces for the Hwa Chong Nanyang Annual Sports Day Meet. Hmm...seems like the Nanyang girls are not 'chio' enough. He he. Now, without further ado, let the torch relay begin! (PS: The sequence of the people holding the torch MIGHT not be in order.)

With great honour, the Nanyang girls held the torch high, jogging really slowly. Goodness gracious me! Even the snails are faster than that!(Ha ha! Just joking!) From a jog, they broke into a slow run. At hundred metres, the Hwa Chong High School Section is there to meet them. With the handing over of the torch, the group of them 'charged' on towards the other half of the track. There, the Hwa Chong Junior College's leader 'snatched' the torch away and the crowd broke off at a 'run'. Speeding towards the last hundred metres, Hwa Chong International School takes over and the whole clump of them blast off towards the 'lighter' before knocking him down.(Ha ha, just joking! PS: 'Lighter' as in the person who is gonna light the stand thingie or whatever you call it.) Oh dear! Are you alright man?

To everyone's amazement, the 'lighter' shot up at once and lighted the stand at once with some nice crackling of fire after that. And now............................. LET THE TOURNAMENT BEGIN! First to start was the hundred metres race! With the 'heart-attacking' blast from the pistol, everyone fainted except for the 'gunner'. However, the athletes were nowhere to be seen. They had all shot towards the finish line at the speed of light! By golly, they were so fast they left a blazing trail behind. This place is on fire! Are they wearing rocket shoes?

Next, there is this Javelin thingie. Goodness me, look at that guy! He is so muscular. Wonder if any girls like him? Oh look at how he threw that spear! Its flying high, flying fast, flying towards the 'referee'...... and pierce through his head!!! Aargh! Don't look at this ugly sight! Ignore this first guy, let's move on to the next one! Now, this guy is running. He's running fast, running as if a mad dog is chasing him. With all his strength and life, he threw that spear high up into the air. It went twisting through the air before spinning down towards the ground and piercing through the thick grass. To everyone's astonishment, it was nearly midfield. That was rather superb(I say rather as I had seen better throws than that)!

Moving on to the other side of the field, we could see the high jumpers and grasshoppers trying to jump over the pole. The grasshoppers were winning. Looks like human beings are losing to such simple insects like the grasshopper! Our first jumper is getting ready. He's running, running faster, running as if he had never ran before. With a skip and a hop, he was sent into the air before knocking down the pole and a bystander. As he stood up, heart-broken with disappointment, walked away swiftly out of sight. Perhaps they should wear spring shoes next time.

Across the field back on the other side, discus were spinning everywhere like mini UFOs. One of them flew towards a minah before hitting it with a hard 'thump!'. The minah began hobbling and yelping away as it cursed and swore at the person who threw the discus. A lot more other athletes also fling them and many were left lying around like mines. Perhaps they should have threw them harder so that it someone instead. There was nothing much more left to see. All is in a mess as all the activities took place at the same time. Perhaps we should have multiple eyes in the future, perhaps even some behind our heads just to check who had pasted a 'kick me' note on our backs.

The next thing that really interst me is although there is nothing much going right now is a guy who went up to the fire to light a cigarette(sounds familiar, wondered where did this joke came about?)Now, with nothing more to see and watch, we have come to the end of this meet. Looks like it wasn't precious in the end. There's nothing much to see except some 'monkeys' horsing around.

With that, this post has come to a end. Stay tuned for more. May more posts come your way! Anyway, I am thinking of putting up another post by the end of today. So stay right there and don't move! That includes breathing too!

Getting Screwed & Fed Up With Living

Groan. Moan. Mutter!!! GRRR!!!!!!! What are you staring at??? He he, just joking. You may wonder why I did all that. Oh well, I was rather fed up with this world. Why can't everyone just be at peace with each other? At one point of time, my classmates are asking the class monitor to shut up. Next, there will be total chaos in class. Furthermore, some 'cracked-up' people will criticize their classmates and before you know it, the four-lettered word came rolling out of their mouth.

This world is totally breaking up into pieces. No, my life is breaking up. With so much project and homework underway, I think I am gonna get crushed by them. But they are not heavy enough to crush me till I could not think of jokes! He he! Anyway, let's get started(I wonder why I am saying this, we already started this a while ago). Umm...what I am suppose to say? Oh yes! Hi! He he!

Now, just for the sake of my ex-classmates reading this post, I had better tell you something to show off my school. Ha ha, just joking. Anyway, my school was double champion for the 'National Inter-school Track & Field' competition last Wednesday at the Choa Chu Kang Stadium. We sec ones were sent there to cheer our hearts out. It was a pretty tense(hmm, maybe next time I will type beautiful tense) competition against other schools like Raffles Institution, Raffles Girls, Nanyang Girls High, Singapore Sports School and lots more. In the end, our voice was hoarse and our souls were cheered out instead. As we emerged as the double champion, our seniors took out a humongous banner and place it on the field along with the other schools. Anyone with a word BIGGER than humongous, please tell me, as the banner was......about the size of three buses(I think)?

With the victory home, Dr Hon(our CEO principal) gave us a day off on Friday. No, wait, it is only half a day off since were only dismissed at eleven.): We might as well not have half the day off as we still had CCAs to attend in the afternoon. Groan, perhaps Dr Hon planned this. He he! With that, we moved nicely into the weekends. Oh yeah! I love the weekends. It is the time for me to 'slack'. In fact, I 'slack' everyday! Nothing better to do. Oops! I mean, lots of stuff to do. But I always seems to drag them to the last minute. What I mean by that is I will drag it on the floor continuously until the final minute before I die(He he!).

There is not much happening from Monday to Wednesday. Only today did the real thing happen and yeah, on the other days, fake things happened instead. Today, there was a Mathematics test in which I screwed it up(Yeah! I used a screwdriver to screw the test.). With two questions in total blank, I am heading for a maximum marks of 38/40. By the way, the tests lasted for about forty-five minutes, or was it forty? Oh well.

Another interesting thing about today is during AAP lesson. Miss Lim showed us a super nice advertisment made by Nike to promote their shoes. It is my HONOUR to present to you the video 'Take It To The Next Level'. Enjoy the video and have a bad day! He he! May more posts come your way! And no, I do not mean more posts will come in May! He he! Check back soon and please comment!

Missing Me Already?

Hello people and humans(and aliens). It has been a looooooonnnnnnnng time. Missing me already? I bet not, since you guys all hate me(Ha ha!). Today, I came back with a whole ton of new updates about my life. Well, actually it is more of a pound than a ton. If not, I could not have taken them home(Mind you, one ton. That's too much for me to carry!). One thing I bet you guys are MADLY famished to know. Hmm, you guys are to famished. Let's continue after your dinner(Ha ha. Just joking!). Or you could just swallow your computer whole(That will be the most 'intelligent' method I have ever known).

So, first stop, my camp on St. John's Island. How did it go? Well, I think I got seasick on the boat and the camp lasted for three days two nights. It was pretty fun. But I hate the sleeping conditions. Grr!!! Ask us to pay hundred over dollars just to sleep in dirty old tents. Mind you, we have to squeeze five people into one tent and it stinks at night due to our sweat. It is too stuffy in there! What a waste of our money(Maybe they wanted to 'eat' our money, so they cheated us. Ha ha!). My money! No!! Boohoo! My hard-earned money wasted in just a matter of seconds!

Although on the second night we got to sleep in domes, it was still rather squeezy. Mind you, five people squeezed onto five single sized bed. That is insane! If you have told me it was five people squeezed onto five king sized beds, ho ho! I will be insane! Wahaha! This is totally luxury man! Of course, I know we are considered lucky to have all this, but hey, we gotta enjoy as much luxuries as we can before they are gone. That seems more sensible than to let them go to waste. Well, I mean it! I will rather stay in a five star hotel than a four star one if I could.

Now lets move on. The food was nice. Although it would be better if they could give us sushi. Just joking! I love sushi. They are nice. The activities? Well, they have many activities planned for us. Stuff like camp fire, ice breakers, night hunt and lots more. The one I enjoyed the most? Well, it is eating time! He he! The best! I am so hungry after all the tiring 'hike' around the island that my stomach is totally empty. Absolutely nothing. Not even air nor digestive juices. I wasn't even full after the meal that I felt like swallowing my own tongue! Wish I could.

On the way back to Singapore main land, I was rather sad and happy. Sad? Well, I love the nature on St. John's Island. It was so unspoilt.
Pity there are no tigers there. If not I could bribe it to help me bite off the heads of some people(Ha ha!). Happy? Well, I love the way my own bed was so soft and plushy unlike the 'crappy' sleeping conditions back on St. John's Island.

After the camp, it was the start of the March holidays! Woohoo! And on Monday, I had an AEP workshop where students from other schools who had AEP came to our school for some art activities. Are you guys itching to know which schools are they from? Well, I will tell you, for some cash(Just joking!). They are: Victoria Secondary, Zhonghua Secondary and Nanyang Girls High. We had to design a costume based on our theme, which is the movie: The Incredibles. In the end, it looked more like a trash bag than a costume, and of course, I was not the one who wore it. I will trash them if they do. Ha ha!

And during the holidays, I didn't do anything much, just some paper work and computer games(What else? Everyone loves computer anyway.). Oh, I almost forgot. There's a chinese drama on Tan Kah Kee's life put up by our school and held at the Victoria Theatre. The drama was nice, one of the niceset I had ever watched. Wish there will be more dramas in the future. When school reopens, I was feeling rather 'emo'. Groan. My holidays just passed so quickly. A cruel world I am living in. CRUEL!

And now, the last thing. Good bye! May more posts come your way! Check back soon!

What's Up?

Yo Humans! I am back again after a disappearance of a week from this blog. Today, I am here to update about the happenings around here. Guess what? My place has just been robbed. When the thief sneaked into my house, I told him,"Well, well, well. Look what we got here." And with that, I picked up a fight with him. You can say that I used Kungfu against him. You can also say I fought like the robot in the movie "Matrix Reloaded". Cool!

First thing, I chokeslamed him. Next, I kicked his butt and he was sent high up into the air. His head went through the ceiling and he was stuck. This time, I went bonkers and became to punch him to death. I took out a sword and slashed him to bits. I summoned the police and they came here and took the bits to jail. So, do you guys believe it? No? Well, you had better believe it. Or else I will slash you to bits too. Ha ha, just joking. All this was made up(obviously)!

So, let's get back to the subject. Or you can ask the subject to get back to us instead. Where was I? Oh yes! I was at home typing this blog(Ha ha)! Anyway, did you notice the changes I had made to my blog? Well, I had put the videos at the top, so it is easier for you guys to see it. Oh and another thing, I had changed the "Number of posts on each page" option from three to five, so that you can see more of them on one page(obviously).

What's happening in school? Well, just in case you didn't know(If you didn't know, then you are dumb. Ha ha. Just joking.), there will be a camp from 10th March to 12th March at S.T John's Island.
Which is from Wednesday to Friday. Yeah! One good thing about this is, we will not get homework during the March holidays! WAHAHA! That is so AWESOME!

Unless you tell me the teachers bring the homework along with them to the camp. Darn! That will be the worst thing that has ever happen. Oops, I am giving away ideas. Don't tell the teachers about this idea! They might use it! If they do, I will kill them! Homework, homework and more HOMEWORK! Is that what life is all about?

One more thing. Goodbye!

What? Goodbye is also part of this post! In fact, it is part of every posts of mine! So......goodbye! May more posts come your way!

Home Online Learning: Literature Arts(Naturalistic)

Welcome back to Keno Zero! Now I am going to share with you some ideas regarding what I have to do for LA: Naturalistic. Well, I have to do a research on the breeding of lamb as food. In the research, I have to identify the methods of breeding lamb, provide a detailed description of the leg of lamb that Mary used as a murder weapon, its weight, nutritional value and suggest a recipe that she used to cook it for Sergeant Noonan and his men.

That seems a lot of work. I guess it is time to get serious(That means there are no more jokes forever. Ha ha. Just joking! Hey wait! That's a joke!). Well, here goes.

There are many ways to breed lambs. There is no better or lousier method. It all depends on how you feed and raise them. Each way have their advantages and disadvantages and each of them are for different occasions and locations. Some ways of feeding are: Whole-grain feeding and pasture feeding. Grain-fed lambs grow faster and reach market weight quicker. However, they are subject to various digestive disturbances. As for pasture-fed lambs, fewer digestive problems are encountered. However, they are more vulnerable to predators.

The leg of the lamb that Mary used as a murder weapon is probably the entire leg, with the bones sill inside. It will weight at least ten kilograms. The nutritional value is probably very high, causing the entire leg to be very hard and heavy. This allows Mary to kill her husband with one blow. Imagine the impact of ten kilograms plus all the power of average size person. That is enough to break some hard stones! Here's a drawing that I drew by myself using 'Paint':

Here is the recipe for the lamb's leg I had came up with:

Ingredients:
1) Lamb leg
2) Some vegetables(lettuce might be a good choice)

What To Do:
1) Chop the leg up with a chopper(you may want to remove the bones)
2) Put the meat into the oven for half an hour(depends on the size of the leg)
3) When it is done, take them out to cool.
4) Put some vegetables on a plate
5) Put the meat over the vegetables
6) Pour some rosemary source over the meat
7) Serve it while it is warm
8) Enjoy the food!

So, that is the recipe I made up myself. I have not try it before, and neither do I know whether it tastes nice. Here's another picture of which it might have looked like except that it does not have any source and used another kind of vegetable instead of using lettuce:

So, I guess my job here is done. Thank you very much for your time for reading this post. We shall meet again on another post. May more posts come your way! Stay tuned!

Multiple Intelligence Test: The Result

A very good morning everyone! Today, I am going to share with you what I had just done. I just took a Multiple Intelligence test. Guess what is my result? Well, before I tell you that, how about telling you what kind of results are there first? There are many of them.

To list them all, here they are: Kinaesthetic(Body Smart), Linguistic(Word Smart), Logical(Number Smart), Interpersonal(People Smart), Intrapersonal(Myself Smart), Musical(Music Smart), Visual/Spatial(Picture Smart) and Naturalistic(Nature Smart).
What did I get? Well, I had two answers. Logical and Naturalistic. Both of them were the highest. Of course, we are only allowed to choose one, so what did I pick? Well, if you really want to know, it is Naturalistic.

It seems more interesting to me. I love nature very much. I am afraid I could not put a picture of the result here, so you guys have to see it for yourself. Here is the link: http://tinyurl.com/32ge4g. The code for my results is: 2zzf8d50378r. Make sure you guys type it exactly as it appeared. or you might get someone else's answer and blame me for lying.

The test was alright though. I wonder how does all those questions really gave you the answers to which smart type you are? But whatever that is, I still enjoyed the quiz. It was really fun. They asked so many interesting questions that I am not sure how they are linked to the answer. Well, I guess that is all for now. I am update again soon, so be sure to check out my blog. May more posts come your way!(That's my saying. He he!)

Finally, The Moment You Guys Have Been Waiting For!

Hello everyone! This time, I am back with a surprise. I finally knew how to put videos in my blog(I am talking about putting them in the blog, not the posts.)! I had gone to great lengths just to find out how to do it. I took nearly a month to find out on YouTube how to put those silly videos. It really frustrates me, the way that the screen is so small when I put them in the sidebar instead. So in the end, I have to put them at the very bottom instead. Further more, I still have to create a YouTube account just to put them up(Grr! This is totally wasting my time!).

I put them there for some reasons. Firstly, the sidebar is too small to contain them. Secondly, you guys will have to scroll all the way down, through all the posts that I have posted just to get you guys stay longer on my blog(He he!). How good is that? Just joking! Being a very very very very(a whole lot of verys) good friend of you guys(He he!), I had specially change the settings of "Number of Posts Shown A Page" form fifteen to five. You see! I am so kind to all of you. And yet you guys are so bad to me(He he! Just joking! No need to get so worked up. If you are, then just stop working! Ha ha!). To nicely celebrate this occasion(I wonder why I wrote this?), I had put up another video right in this post. Or you could just scroll down and watch it from there instead.

Oh yeah, if you guys are itching to know what CCA I got into, then just scratch yourself. I am sure you will get the answer!

Have you guys guessed what CCA I got into? You are right! It is "Scratching Club"! HA HA! That is so funny. I am feeling so itchy now. Sorry, gotta scratch myself for a while. Gosh, I wish I have claws instead. Those itches are so itchy that I need a mad cat to help me scratch. Anybody owns a cat? I could do with some cat scratch! YEOW! That hurts! BAD KITTY! Get out of my house!

Cat:"MEEOOWWWW!!! What the heck! Are you trying to kill me! Take this! LIGHTNING CLAW!!!"
Me:"YEEEOOOWWWWW!!! What the heck are you trying to do? Take that! BLAZING KICK!!!"
Cat:"MEEOOWWW!!! Help! I am being kicked out of from the twelve floor! AHHHHHH..."
SPLAT!!!
The End

He he! That was some joke. Some weird joke I shall say. So have you guys figured out what CCA I got into? No? Well, it is...sorry, I gotta scratch again. Ha ha, just joking. It is Chinese Orchestral. Can you believe it? I put it as second choice and I got into that! Groan. Never mind. At least I like it rather a little bit. On the first day of the CCA, we chose our instruments. I chose a flute or 笛子 as the Chinese called it. Why? Well, that is because it is the cheapest among all the other instruments! I am the 'save money' type of person. No wait, I am a 'save everything' type of person, except time(Ha ha!).

Well, I guess that is all for today. Keep yourself busy on checking out more posts on KENO ZERO! May more posts cme your way! Good night!(I wrote it at night, duh!)

BIG RUN!!!!!!!

Yaaahhhoooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just got back from the BIG RUN today! What? Do not understand? Well, let me explain. It might even come as a shock to you. It is so terrifying that your hair will stand on end. You will be standing with your mouth 'hanging' open. You will drop dead on the floor and finally die. Okay okay, let me get to the point. First of all, there is no lessons today. How good is that!

Next, we did not have lessons today because of..................um, are you guys dying to know that? Well, because of a run! A BIG run. Guess what? It is a distance of three kilometers! How long is that! And you know how much time I took for that? Seventeen and a half hours! Ha ha, just joking. Seventeen and a half seconds! Ha ha, that is impossible. Well, I guess by now you should know how long I took. It is not in hours and neither is it in seconds, so you guys should be able to know(unless you tell me you failed your mathematics).

Seventeen and a half minutes! That is the worst record I had ever heard. My friends all took off like race cars while I was lagging behind like a snail. Maybe it is about time I bought a human engine(Ha ha). The entire school assembled at the terraces today(I am talking about the pupils, not the buildings that make up the school). First to begin was lighting a cigarette. Ha ha, just joking.

First of all, we had some representatives from the four consortiums stationed at different positions around the four hundred meters track(By the way, the students in my school are grouped into four different consortiums. Just in case you do not know, here they are: Aphelion, Ortus, Pro Ed and Ispark.). The point here is: a fire will be lit on a torch, passed from consortium to consortium until the torch came back to the starting position. It will then be handed over to the Deputy Principal and he will light the um......what do you call that? Never mind, he will use the torch to light another torch which is stationed and fixed(a bit like what they do in the Olympics, if you do not get the picture).

First to start was the Aphelion consortium. They ran together with one of them holding the torch. As they proceeded on to one quarter of the track, another consortium was there to meet them. That is, Ispark. As the two groups ran together with 'pain', the commentator(Yes, she was there to summarize the whole thing up.) kept on talking and talking and babbling into the microphone. Next stop, half way through, was Pro Ed. With much anticipation, they took the torch and the three groups ran together to the final stop. As they reached three quarters point of the four hundred track, another consortium was there to meet them. And with pleasure may I announce, The Ortus Consortium! I know, it sounds rather dramatic and 'show-offic', but hey, what is wrong with that? There is nothing wrong with loving your own consortium and it does not mean that I hate the other consortiums.

As they passed it to the Deputy Principal, the excitement began(Well, in actual fact, the excitement already started a long time ago.). With great anticipation, the 'Main Torch' was lit and there was great roaring of applause. You know what? Not only are the student running. The teachers and staff were going to run too! But of course, it is one at a time. Or else there will be human jam instead of traffic jam. First to start was the Secondary Ones. That is, us. The pupils representing each class got to start first. With the sound of a fart(Well, it is actually a horn. But it sounded more like a high-pitched fart to me.), the representatives took off. Yes, they took off into the air(Ha ha!). Next, it is our turn to start. To my great disappointment, the 'referee' did not use the fart, but the whistle instead(I would like to hear the fart again. It is so 'laughy'! Ha ha! HA HA HA!).

I started out slowly, and even slower when going uphill. I hate them! They 'burnt' me up. But I especially love the downhill route. It allows me to charge down at supersonic speed. If I am not wrong, I think I reach 99999999km/h. HA HA! Of course, it was rather tiring. It is a good thing we are still in secondary one, or else we would have to run four kilometres! Anyway, the route was rather long. I managed to keep my spirit alive until it went dead.

It happened when I was running along the path. My legs felt like tons of metal. My hands began to 'gain weight'. I could not take it anymore. With the last breath out, I slowed to a walk. I did not know how long I had been walking. As I looked at my stopwatch............OH MY GOD!!! Twelve minutes!!! Three minutes left to break my fastest record: fifteen minutes! With that, I shot off at ULTIMATE speed. The rest of the people were left in the dusk. As I crossed the finishing line, I looked at my stopwatch. The result? Well, I told you that before right? Seventeen and a half minutes. Groan. The pupil waiting at the finishing line did not give me anything, which means I am not the top hundred pupils to have complete the race. Moan.

So, that's that. It was mere fifteen minutes after I completed the race that all the secondary one pupils completed the race. In case you did not know, the Deputy Principal also joined in the race. Now, where is the CEO Principal? Why did he not run? Slack(Joking!). Well, maybe he is too old to do so. But hey, people should still exercise when they are old. It makes them healthy. After all this, there is the prize-giving ceremony. Well, our class did not win anything. But that does not matter. What matters is to FINISH THE RACE. That is the true spirit of sportsmanship.

I guess after all this reading you guys would like to take a break. Well, I do not blame. Besides, it is the end of this post. Oh, I almost forgot, here's another video! Enjoy! More posts coming your way!

Lamb To The Slaughter Versus The Way Up To Heaven

Hi everyone. I am back again. Sorry for not blogging for a long time. For this post, I shall share with you the comparison of two stories. That is, 'Lamb To The Slaughter' by Roald Dahl if you did not already know, and 'The Way Up To Heaven' which is also by Roald Dahl. What are the similarities and differences between the two stories? Well, that is why I am here! I am here to answer that question! I recommend you readers to read the two stories first before reading the next few bits.

First stop, the similarities:
1) Both stories are about lying and deception
2) Both stories include the deaths of the husbands
3) Both stories include couples
4) Both husbands did not treat their wives well
5) Both husbands did not really love their wives
6) Both husbands were killed by their wives in a smart and cunning way
7) Both wives knew how to get rid of the evidences that they were the murderers
8) Both wives were like professional actresses, they knew how to act innocent without any flaws

Next stop, the differences:
1) 'Lamb to the Slaughter' includes a young couple while 'The Way Up to Heaven' includes an old couple
2) Mary Maloney(The name of the wife in 'Lamb to the Slaughter') killed her husband with the leg of a lamb while Mrs Foster(The name of the wife in 'The Way Up to Heaven') killed her husband by trapping him in the lift
3) Mary Maloney killed her husband due to the fact that he was going to leave her in her extreme state of pregnancy while Mrs Foster killed her husband due to the fact that he was always trying to delay her time and make her late
4) Mary Maloney made herself less suspected as the murderer by going to the grocer and acted normal in front of him while Mrs Foster made herself less suspected as the murderer by going off to the airport for her flight as she left her husband trapped in the lift to die

Last stop, which story I prefer and why:
Well, I prefer the story 'The Way Up to Heaven'. The reason? Well, how about this: I do not know(Ha ha! Just joking!). The true reason is, the writer did not straight away tell us that Mrs Foster was trying to kill her husband. He let us figure it out ourselves after much thinking and brainstorming. I always love challenges(Although not challenges that are too hard to solve.). In a rather tricky and cunning manner, she killed her husband just by trapping her in the lift. Whereas the Mary Maloney just simply killed her husband by hitting his head with a lamb's leg. I preferred Mrs Foster's method as it is more 'creative'. I wondered how Mrs Foster knew that the lift was going to breakdown. Maybe she had enhance vision(Ha ha!).

So all in all, that is my post on the two stories. Thank you for your time to read this lengthy(and somewhat boring) post. See you guys next time. May new posts come your way!

Friday Fantasy!

Hi everyone. I am back(I am always back. If not I would not have written this post. Ha ha!). Yesterday, I had the best time of my life. My school celebrated Chinese New Year yesterday. We need not wear any school uniform and there were no classes to attend at all! First thing first. We went to the terraces to sing the national anthem and all the stuff you usually do in the morning.

After this, the excitement started. We went to the hall and it was greatly decorated(It is a pity that only the stage and not the entire hall is nicely decorated.Ha ha!). First, we had to seat there and wait for the Very Important People to come and no, they were not superstars. Who were they? Well, it is so obvious. Who were they to be other than the Principal, Deputy Principals and teachers?

If only I was invited to seat beside Doctor Hon(He he!). What an honour it will be! There was a lion dance performance by our wushu club(I think.). The performance was alright. The only thing that disappointed me was that there was no vegetable tied up high above the ground for the lions to stand up and grab it. Maybe they were too lazy(Just joking!). Next, the Chinese orchestral did a superb job in putting up a music performance. I was rather envious(At least envious is still better than jealous!).

The music was nice, of course. After these, the wushu club put up another performance full of stunts, although it would be better if they could kick people's butt(Or bums. He he!). I wonder why they usually kick their own hands instead. They even do somersaults and stunts using the weapons. If only they could kick while they do somersaults(He he!).

The second last thing that we have is a little 'play' by four people. It is so hilarious that my head fell off. The last thing? Well, there was a sing along session and the 'caishenye'(财神爷)came in and threw candies to us. It is a pity that he threw them so hard that they all flew over my hands instead, even when I stood up! Oh well, I guess that is life uh? Well, let me see what else are there to say. Oh yes! I have the third episode of the video right here. Anyone who knows how to put a video list in a blog please tell me so that I can put one up with all the videos there! Enjoy the video and have a happy Chinese New Year! HAVE A ROARING TIGER YEAR!

PS: Some parts of the video is rather sick. Sorry for that.

More Videos Coming Your Way!

Hi everyone! I am back again! This is my second post of the day and I am going to put another funny video this time. Since we are still getting stressed due to the upcoming tests next week, this video shall release your stress! Feel free to laugh out loud(Though not so loud until your neighbours complain). Laughing can release your stress. It is also the best medicine. But this does not mean you are allowed to show this to any person who is ill! It may have results too!

One important thing to note is, I did not make this video. It was taken from YouTube. So please do not say I am crazy for doing all this stuff in the game. This game can only be played on either Xbox or PlayStation's. I have neither, so it is not possible for me to make this video. Thank you! Now where was I? Oh yes! Since I have forgotten to tell you the content of the videos in "Getting Stressed?", I shall explain it here.

This video is about the main character doing silly things like jumping out of a helicopter, doing crazy stunts using a vehicle, crazy usage of the weapons and lots more! There are many episodes. The one that you see in this post is episode two. The one in the "Getting Stressed?" is episode one. Well, since I had went this far, I might as well tell you where I got it from.

Just go to You Tube and type: gta4 bloopers glitches and silly stuff. Altogether, there will be eight episodes. You can watch them on You Tube or watch it on my blog. I will put one on my blog once in a while.

And now, the moment you have been waiting for! After so much reading, I bet you guys are itching to watch the video. But do not scratch yourself yet, because the video is here! Happy watching!

Happy Chinese New Year! And Some Nonsense Too!

Just a few more days to Chinese New Year! Are you all as excited as I am? Well, I am! I will be doing lots of stuff. Well, not really lots of stuff, but fun stuff! These Friday, I need not wear school uniform to school and there will not be any lessons! How great is that? We need not wear through the whole day lessons after lessons. Anyway, there are only four lessons each day(He he!). But four lessons are more than enough. I almost felt asleep during one of the class today! Anyway, I almost got caught for sleeping during research studies! How lucky I am, not to be caught by teacher 'patrolling' the area.

Further more, I think the school has many activities planned for us on that day. I cannot imagine what we will be doing! Will we play with firecrackers? Yeah right! Firecrackers are not allowed in Singapore anyway. If they are allowed, I will light one and throw it at my enemies. I might as well fire fireworks at them. These Saturday, I will go to Long Beach restaurant for dinner. As for Sunday, I will be going back to Malaysia to visit my grandparents. I will also be lighting firecrackers with my cousins.

I might as well secretly bring some back to Singapore and light them in school(Just joking)! Well, I guess that is all for now. Return soon for more posts coming your way!

Test? I Protest!

Shiver my timbers. There are tests coming right up in the next week. I just had my English and Mathematics test a few days ago. I must say that it did not go very well. Why? Well, that is because I did not know how to do some of the questions! Groan! Mutter! Moan! Roar! What is it with this world? Why must there be such things as tests? Are they here to kill us? Or are they here because teachers want them?

I did not do very well for my Mathematics test. Grr!!! Even the word Mathematics is enough to set me on fire! A lousy piece of twenty-four out of forty greeted me on the fifth of February. That is, yesterday. NO!!!!!! Boohoo! Why? Why is it so low? Well, first things first. I hate Mathematics. I did not really study for the test. I really hate Mathematics. I did not pay much attention to the questions. I seriously despise Mathematics!

Whatever that is, I protest! No more tests! No more tests in the future! Make life easier for our children! Our children's children! Our children's grandchildren! If only a device that make a human super intelligent is created. Sigh. To make things even worse, I have my Chinese test on eighth February! That is, Monday. So I guess it is about time I go and revise for my test (before another lousy result greet me again).

You may be wondering how much I got for my English test. My marks for my English test is "I do not know". Ha ha.

Well, that is all for now. See you guys in my next post! Oh yes, I almost forgot. It is one week more to Chinese New Year. So have a Happy Chinese New Year. That includes the other races as well, regardless whether they are celebrating it or not.

Getting Stressed?

Hi there everyone! I am back! This time, I am back with a proper subject. My School Life! How is everyone coping with their school. Making new friends already? Going to forget 6A 2009 any moment now? Well if you do, I will bash you (not to worry, I will only bash you if you did the second point). Me? Well I am doing fine. The scenery in Hwa Chong is nice. There are fountains and koi ponds. There are even waterfalls!(although not natural ones) The only thing that is driving me crazy is homework. I hate homework. Why is that there are always homework? What's with this world? Is homework trying to take away our time? What is homework? Ha ha! Yes, homework can drive us mad, make us stressed. Stressed until you cannot be stressed anymore. Ha ha! Anyway, I have included a funny video to release our stress. Just as long you do not mind some violence. Happy watching! I will update again soon! Stay tuned! SEE YA!

A Deception of the Story 'Lamb To the Slaughter'

Hello Humanoids! I am back! Sorry for the sudden end to my post last time. This time, I will make sure I have a proper ending. For this post, I am going to talk about the deception of the story: Lamb To The Slaughter. Seems rather interesting? Well read on. I will tell you what this story is about (Although not the entire story. I only got to read part of it).

Characters: Mr Maloney, Mary Maloney (Mr Maloney's Wife), Sam, Mr Maloney's detective colleagues

Mary Maloney was a perfect housekeeper and a loving wife. Her entire world encompasses her husband. She would do anything to please him. She was pregnant and these made her more beautiful than before. She was always waiting for her husband every evening by the sofa, especially on Thursday, as they always go out together for dinner.

However, one day, Mr Maloney said he was going to leave her when she was in her extreme state of pregnancy. Even though Mr Maloney cared for her wife, he was more concerned about her not creating a 'fuss' as it might affect his career. When Mr Maloney told her that he is going out alone for dinner that night, Mary Maloney revealed her 'dark' side.

From a loyal and loving wife, she became a dangerous person with a clever mind. She murdered her husband by hitting his head with the leg of a lamb. When she recovered from her senses, she was shocked at what she saw. Her brain worked quickly, giving her instructions. She quickly went to the grocer to buy some groceries. These gave the idea that she was actually at the grocery shop when the murder of her husband happened.

When she got home, she called the police. Her husband's detective colleagues came and she served them the leg of the lamb, which was also the murder weapon. The detectives did not suspect her as they knew that she was at the grocer when the murder took place. Even though Mary Maloney got away with the murder for now, we do not know whether the police or the detectives will eventually found out that she was the murderer.

So from here, we can see: Mary Maloney may be a loving and perfect house-keeper for her husband. But her planning and creation of an alibi clearly indicate that beneath the surface of the over-pleasing wife there lay an astute, sharp and a clever mind.

In the beginning, we take her as a sweet, gentle and peaceful wife. But who knows that she was a talented actress underneath. Her acts of innocence in front of the detectives are without any flaws.

Other stories you may want to read are: Male Child and Love. Both of them can be found in the book: Little Ironies.

So that is all for now. See you all next time!

Hi There Humanoids!

Hello there Humanoids! Welcome back to Keno Zero! For those who read my blog back at MSN, you can pretend you did not see the word 'back'. Hmm...... what am I going to write today? Give me a moment. Let me think. In case you did not notice, I am already writing something. He he. If you do not understand me, then forget it. While waiting for me to think of what to write, why don't you guys answer some jokes first?

Okay, here goes: What starts with a 'T', ends with a 'T' and is full of 'T'? What did Sushi A says to Sushi B? What did the mushroom says to his neighbour? The answers are below. Now that I am done thinking what to write, let's start. Hey, is that the time? Sorry gotta go. Something good on the tele(television). He he!

Answers to the jokes: Teapot, Wasabi(what's up, B?), I am a fun guy(fungi)
take your time to laugh to reduce stress.

My First AAP Lesson and My Favourite Football Club

Hi everyone. I am back. Today I have my first AAP lesson. I stands for Art and Acts of Persuasion. We learned about how to identify the message of an advertisement. Our teacher is Miss Lim. We got to use our phone today to record our voices for three minutes. Liang Hao spoke into my phone with these words: Manchester United sucks. Well, I do not like Manchester United, but i will not say it sucks. I support Arsenal. But I am unsure why some of you say Arsenal sucks. However, no matter what happens, I will still support Arsenal. I also like Chelsea a little. If you asks me whether I like Liverpool, I will shake my head. Feel free to post your comments on my blog.

A Change of Place

The holidays had came to an end and schools reopened again. This year, I am not in a primary school anymore. I am in a secondary school! I am so elated that I am on cloud nine. Being in a secondary school makes me feel like a grown up. I made new friends and met new teachers in my secondary school. All this is so awesome. Then again, I felt sad to leave behind my primary school friends. It is a such a pity that they cannot study in the same secondary school as mine. I hope you guys are also feeling the same. I missed my primary school friends very much.
If we are not going to meet again, I think I will burst into tears. But luckily, we are still organising gatherings and we get to see each other once a few weeks. I hope this all the same for you too, readers. Do you have any of these experience? Feel free to write down comments on my blog. Thank you for reading!
